Our client, a privately-owned manufacturer, is looking for experienced welders to assemble, weld and fabricate grating material.
 
About Our Client: Known for metal design, manufacturing and custom fabrication services in the following spaces: architectural, bridges, environmental, industrial, parks & rec and public transportation. 
 
Job Functions:
  • Review job travelers and identify what material and spacing is needed to perform the requirements of the traveler
  • Perform routine banding, deburr, and tread jobs as assigned by supervision
  • Assist fabrication by welding pre‐fabricated parts as directed and per job specifications
  • Produce quality and quantities within acceptable standards
  • Grind panel and places finished pieces in proper location
  • Safely operate overhead and jib cranes to move grating panels, and use various power tools as needed
 
Requirements: 
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Completed a Certified Welder Training Program/Course OR an equivalent of 1 year of on the job training
  • Must be able to read, comprehend and interpret drawings
  • Manufacturing experience with carbon steel, stainless steel, or aluminum
  • Plasma torch experience
  • Must be able to conduct visual weld inspections to identify faulty welds
  • Experience with forklifts, electric pallet jacks, overhead and jib cranes
