About Our Client: Known for their integrity and attention to detail, our manufacturing client has been in business nearly fifty years and is still family-owned.

 

Job Functions:

  • Work with welding, scheduling and engineering departments to write, update and troubleshoot programs for assigned robotic welding machinery
  • Implement and maintain weld program consistency between welders both day and night shifts
  • Work with engineering to improve the welding process by design
  • Implement best practices to reduce overall weld cycle time
  • Evaluate and train current and new programmers for skill level and capabilities

 

Ideal Candidate Qualities & Experience:

  • Demonstrate the ability to program all makes and models of robotic equipment
  • Must be able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
  • Interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagrammatic or schedule form
  • Must be able to read and interpret prints and schematics
  • Demonstrate a working understanding of shop math as appropriate to position responsibilities 
  • Demonstrate a mechanical aptitude, including a basic understanding of the various types of tools used in the production process
