Job Functions:
  • Develop new business opportunities and relationships with prospects/new clients
  • Conduct 8-10 new business appointments per week
  • Negotiate (as necessary) and finalize new client agreements
  • Expectation to be visible at a variety of networking and community events representing Rust Belt Recruiting
 
Ideal Candidate Qualities & Experience:
  • 1-3+ years of proven outside B2B sales experience
  • Expertise or experience in one or more of the following industries, preferred:
    • Manufacturing
    • Construction
    • Non-Profit
    • Professional Services or Consulting
  • Demonstrated success developing and securing new business
  • Active listening skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills including excellent verbal and written communication
  • Ability to conversationally adapt to a variety of business buyer personalities
  • Strong problem solving and negotiation skills
  • Innately proactive
  • Highly motivated, hustler mentality with entrepreneurial mindset
  • Must be comfortable cold calling on new accounts
  • Ideal candidate is a self-starter - will use time efficiently, maintain productivity and be dependable
  • Positive and creative personality
  • Results-oriented is a must
