Job Functions

  • Perform daily inspections of tow motor(s)
  • Unload and load trucks
  • Validate and sign the Bill of Lading (BOL)
  • Weight count product
  • Prepare and stage loads for shipment
  • Stage material for production
  • Bring in empty containers
  • Empty chip hoppers and trash hoppers as needed
  • Position raw materials and empty containers in proper staging areas
  • Assist with the monthly inventory
  • Follow all safety rules
  • Other duties assigned

Requirements

  • 1+ years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Training and demonstrated record of safe operation of Powered Industrial Truck.
  • Ability to read, write and follow written and verbal instructions
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to regularly lift/ move 30 pounds
  • Must be able to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong adherence to safety regulations and PPE requirements (steel-toed or safety toed work boots + safety glasses)
