Full-Time / $13.50 Hourly / 2nd Shift / Wooster, OH

We have a client in need of detail-oriented and hard-working individuals to play a hands-on role in their operations as a Shear and Saw Operator. 

About Our Client

Our client is a well-known manufacturer building truck bodies for medium-duty service/utility bodies and cranes that can be used for heavy-duty performance. This is a great opportunity to work for a national company and gain reputable experience right in your own backyard. 

Job Functions:

The primary responsibility of this role is to operate shear and saw machines to help the flow of efficient production of their products. Some of their other duties include:

  • Selecting and correcting the materials and gauges
  • Setting up shear machine 
  • Conduct quality control inspections on items produced
  • Operate a tow motor as needed
  • Perform safety and housekeeping duties 

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations
  • Must be able to operate a computer 
  • Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 80 lbs. 
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment 
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions with minimal supervision
  • Strong communication skills
