Reporting Relationship: Operations Executive or Vice President
Work Schedule: Full-Time
 
Job Functions:
  • Oversee self-performed work (typically on one project at a time), the work of subcontractors, scheduling material and labor, inspection of materials and workmanship, field safety training, and all on-site operations
  • Serve as the single point of contact for the Owner and all project stakeholders in the field
  • Coordinate closely with the Project Superintendent (PS)
  • Provide exceptional customer service and communication to colleagues in field and office, owners, owner representatives, architects, engineers, subcontractors, regulatory officials and other project stakeholders
 
Ideal Candidate Qualities & Experience:
  • 4 year engineering, construction management or related degree
  • 5 years of engineering or project management experience with increasing responsibility and construction values approaching $10 million or more
  • Portfolio of completed projects that demonstrate previous success in delivering projects on time, within budget, safely and to the highest standards of craft quality and profitability 
  • Mastered ability to read and understand construction documents including project plans, specifications, and shop drawings
  • Engineering certifications such as EI or PE, or other industry certifications resulting from memberships in organizations like OSHA, USGBC, CMAA or ASHE
