Our client looking for an experienced Robotics Engineer to assist them on a three-month project in Fremont, California for one of their largest clients. This opportunity includes fully paid expenses along with a meal and incidental per diem.

Specializing in error-proofing, traceability, image capture management systems, and addressing clients’ unique needs, they provide highly trained, experienced, and dedicated teams in PLC, HMI Programming, and Full Plant Support. Job Functions

  • Optimize robot motions and speed for cycle-time improvements
  • Ongoing production support 
  • Responsible for designing/selecting robotic systems.
  • Creating simulations and offline programs with Delmia or Process Simulate
  • Responsible for continuous process optimization
  • Advanced robot programming 
  • Develop custom robot application codes to interface with new technologies
  • Support maintenance team in troubleshooting difficult breakdowns and chronic equipment failures
  • Project management including both internal maintenance projects, and major contractor projects
  • Develop procedures and maintain proper documentation related to robotics systems

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years of extensive experience in Robotic programming and applications
  • Durr 3D Simulation experience 
  • Durr Paint Robot experience
  • Paint shop experience
  • BS in mechatronics engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent robotic high level and background programming skills on Fanuc, KUKA, or ABB
  • Hands-on experience commissioning and programming industrial robots
  • Robotic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with Robot simulation packages as well as off-line programming using Robcad, Delmia 3DX, or Process Simulate
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, C, C++, HTML, ROS
  • Experience with robotics applications such as Spot Weld, Stud Weld, Adhesive, Self Piercing Rivet, Vision, Arc Weld, Roll hemming
