We have a client looking for a Quality Coordinator to ensure that safety and quality standards are met at their warehouse. This person will assist with planning, coordinating, and directing their quality program.

Our client is a sustainable manufacturer providing distribution, resale, compounding, and recycling services for plastic and elastomeric raw materials across the US. Job Functions

  • Train team on continuous process improvements, including the use of various problem solving and productivity techniques such as process mapping and time management
  • Assist with formulating and maintaining quality objectives complementary to corporate policies and goals
  • Interpret quality philosophy to personnel within the facility
  • Review quality control and quality assurance data obtained to ensure consistency with company policies and procedures
  • Develop new approaches to solve problems identified during quality activities
  • Keep the management team informed of significant issues or developments identified during quality activities and actions being taken to improve the situation
  • Prepare and present data to the management team
  • Schedule, conduct, and monitor quality training
  • Update and distribute controlled documents
  • Review and redistribute monthly training records
  • Coordinate the Internal Audit Schedule
  • Perform internal process audits; Participate as Lead Auditor
  • Perform all administrative duties related to the total quality management system and ISO processes
  • Prepare and distribute updates monthly for facility quality objectives and initiatives
  • Compile customer survey results
  • Conduct quarterly Management Review meetings and report minutes to local and corporate management
  • Filing and other clerical duties

Requirements

  • Must have 2 years of experience with ISO 9001:2015 Standard
  • Familiarity with process mapping and basic quality processes preferred
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong ability to multitask and attention to detail
  • Able to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
  • Must have a strong understanding of foundational math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
  • Must be familiar and comfortable using Internet software, inventory software, and Microsoft Office Suite
