The position of Production Support includes multiple tasks that ultimately provide good manufacturing practices and on-time delivery. This person will help support manufacturing initiatives by performing a variety of manual and clerical duties on the production floor.

Job Functions

• Transport, inspect, store, and deliver materials, equipment, and supplies to the production process 
• Work with press operators to organize tasks and materials for efficiency 
• Blend and screen product for distribution
• Comply with all safety requirements resulting in zero safety violations
• Follows standard operating procedures for all assigned tasks
• Monitor machine parameters and resolve processing problems.
• Perform Quality Control tests
• Operate all equipment/processes with little supervision

Requirements

• Experience in manufacturing is preferred but not required
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Must be physically able to be on feet during the shift, and exert effort (i.e., lift, bend, pull functions)
• Mechanical aptitude 
• Self-starter who will use time efficiently, maintain productivity and be dependable
• Ability to communicate, perform job duties and read/comprehend in English
• Thorough and detail-oriented
