We have a client in need of a Painting Lead to work directly with their department manager to help oversee their department’s operations and motivate their team. This person will assist in oversight for painters line loaders, brass installers, wrench employees, air station employees, unloading employees, pre-purge employees, tank station operators, and cleaning station operators.

Job Functions

  • Ensure that employees are performing jobs as outlined in the Standard Work Manual
  • Ensure that the department segments are operating per schedule, efficiently and meeting or beating the production output levels
  • Ensure that finished work meets company quality standards
  • Ensure that the following groups within the Finishing Department are operating within budget levels, efficiently, high quality levels, and high production levels
  • Ensure that all personnel are following safety precautions as they perform their work
  • Responsible for the proper work output for the following groups:
    • Painters
    • Line Loaders
    • Brass Installer
    • Wrench
    • Air Station
    • Unloading
    • Pre Purge
    • Cleaning Station
    • Tank Completion and Fitting
  • Ensure that the finished Tanks meet or exceed company standards

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2-3 years of paint experience in a production facility 
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Must be able to move and lift up to 50 lbs
