We have a client looking for Maintenance Technicians who have several years of experience working in a manufacturing environment. This person must be a self-starter that can produce at a high level and is committed to supporting their team. This position is a 2nd or 3rd shift position (flexible).
Job Functions
Inspect, repair, install, and service equipment
Complete all preventative work orders and inspections in a timely manner
Ability to complete corrective repairs
Be mechanically oriented and understand mechanical concepts
Exhibit fine motor skills and have the hand strength required to efficiently use common tools
Become a qualified and safe operator of a forklift truck, floor sweeper, and floor scrubber
Exhibit a sense of cleanliness and orderliness
Communicate in an understandable manner and comprehend the instructions
Read and understand Standard Operating Procedures as they pertain to the tasks which are assigned
Be agile and nimble enough to comfortably work in very tight spaces around the machines
Comply with all established company policies and procedures
Understand and perform all work with team concepts in mind
Must be willing to operate as a leader in group settings and willing to direct others as necessary
Ensure work area is always clean, tidy, and safe
Requirements
Must be able to bend, twist, climb, crawl, and stoop repeatedly throughout the day
Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs
Computer proficient - Microsoft Office (basic skills)
Ability to work in a team environment while being self-motivated
Willingness to work multiple shifts or weekends as required by management
