Our client is looking for experienced and detail-oriented Machine Operators to join their team. This person will monitor and operate various equipment to ensure quality production standards are being met. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a Machine Operator, enjoy working in a team environment, and can easily multitask.

Job Functions
  • Ensure Safety First, Safety Always, and meet or exceed Quality expectations.
  • Inspect equipment to be utilized prior to shift start.
  • Operate machinery to manufacturer’s specifications, meeting time budgets for finished product.
  • Control and adjust machine settings as required.
  • Perform Quality Control.  Visually inspect steel plates, shells, heads, or tanks for defects prior to conveyance.  Report defects to Supervisor.
  • Follow reporting and recordkeeping procedures, and report issues to Supervisor.
  • Maintain cleanliness of workstation and machine(s) utilized.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Experience in heavy industrial manufacturing, preferred.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work in various environmental conditions (heat, humidity, cold).
  • Skilled in working with computer-operated and mechanical equipment.
  • Ability to safely lift/move up to 60 lbs.
  • Proficient in the use of hand tools.
  • Ability to receive and follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members to accomplish departmental goals and to improve operations.
