We have a direct hire opportunity for a client that is seeking experienced Machine Operators to join their team. This person will assist with the production of metal and plastic parts to blueprint specifications, and is responsible for performing required machine set-ups and operations.

About Our Client
Our client is a local manufacturer that produces and distributes mechanical products throughout the globe. With six branch locations worldwide and partnerships with key international suppliers, this is an amazing opportunity to work with a largely successful company right in Toledo, Ohio!

Job Functions
  • Operate assigned machines including HAAS, Fanuc, and ProtoTRAK controls.
  • Perform routine maintenance on assigned machines as required
  • Regularly review and follow all ISO documentation relating to the quality system
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment, with continual emphasis on promoting employee health and safety and using proper safety techniques
  • Work with machined parts at close tolerances
  • Inspect work pieces visually or with templates and other measuring capacities
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Two years of machine operation experience
  • Ability to read prints and engineering drawings
  • Fluently read, work and follow directions
  • Ability to machine on a variety of materials
  • Assure all paperwork is completed and approved as required
  • Interpersonal and communication skills required
  • Customer service skills with an established bias for action in a team environment required
  • Proven awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions required
  • Demonstrated ability to follow safety practices and recognize hazards required
  • Demonstrate ability to meet attendance standards as defined in company policies required
