The Lighting Superintendent will coordinate the execution of the lighting scope of work at all phases of the project. Our ideal candidate must have great communication skills and will work closely with Project Managers and customers. This person will also have a strong background in lighting systems, managing scopes of work, and experience troubleshooting lighting issues. 

About Our Client
Our client is a well known Electrical Contractor in the area that prides themselves on offering timely and quality service at fair and affordable prices. They offer electrical services in residential and commercial industries. They will take on any project from Facility Maintenance to Aerial Work. 

Job Functions

  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding and evaluating of all field employees
  • Consistently develop and promote talent through guidance and training
  • Provide proactive and reactive training, and schedule/oversee certifications
  • Develop strategies for projects and for improving install times and durations with better onsite organization and logistics
  • Schedule and organize projects
  • Work with the Warehouse Manager on obtaining materials, tools, equipment for projects
  • Meet clients and field employees onsite, attending project meetings
  • Handle all Jobsite issues relating to performance and execution
  • Maintenance Jobsite safety and cleanliness
  • Fill in on jobs as necessary
  • Travel as needed (4 days a week, 40 weeks a year minimum)

Requirements

  • 5 years of previous electrical or general construction management experience
  • NEC Code proficient
  • Experience using Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • OSHA 30 Certified
  • NALMCO Certified
  • CPR Certified
  • Scissor Lift Operator Certified
  • Boom Lift Operator Certified
  • Tow Motor Operator Certified
