Our client is seeking an Assembly Technician to perform and lead key tasks for the company's bestselling products. This person will work closely with the Shipping Manager, move around the facility to complete various work, and keep areas neat and tidy.

Job Functions
  • Set up and operate table and band saws
  • Keep an eye on inventory, work closely with shipping department lead to schedule work appropriately
  • Work with various material (abrasives) to assemble products (often a team-oriented process)
  • Must be able to prioritize daily work schedule to hit and maintain customer ship dates
  • Perform glueing and cutting work (requires wearing appropriate PPE, provided new by employer)
  • Keep workstations organized and complete documentation if necessary
Requirements
  • Assembly work experience
  • Production/machinery background
  • Must be mechanically inclined
  • Must be tidy and organized
  • Strongly seeking a person of character, humility and discipline
  • Must be hardworking and have a genuine interest in getting work orders out
  • Ability to multitask
  • Quality/attention to detail...meticulous on product/appearance/quality
  • Strong communication skills to communicate lead time
  • Shipping department experience a plus
