We have a client looking for an Inventory Coordinator to serve as the liaison between their headquarters and warehouse and help control the inventory management. This person will be responsible for receiving, reconciling, and overseeing the inventory process.

Our client is a sustainable manufacturer providing distribution, resale, compounding and recycling services for plastic and elastomeric raw materials across the US. Job Functions

  • Input all receipts of incoming material from their assigned warehouses
  • Responsible for reconciling the warehouse receipt to all vendor-supplied paperwork
  • Ensure accuracy of lots, packaging codes, nomenclature, weight of material, supplier, etc.
  • Enter receipts into the system within the 24-hour guideline
  • Communicate any damaged material received with the appropriate Product Manager/Coordinator or Logistics
  • Resolve or attain disposition of material
  • Perform title transfer transactions and communicate documentation to the material owner(s) 
  • Analyze the anticipated delivery and resolve any overdue purchase order reports with the appropriate Product Coordinator
  • Assist Rail Coordinator with rail receipts upon request
  • Initiate transactions and complete re-packs, re-labels, blends and transfers, work orders, etc. 
  • Analyze the open pack out/open transfers reports
  • Communicate with the originating CSR for completion of work orders and any changes that may have occurred
  • Update production schedule
  • Update rail inventory 
  • Update all reports for month-end reporting
  • Perform necessary adjustments to close out small pounds or rounding calculations
  • Process RGA returns and submit approvals to the corporate quality department
  • Assist warehouse team with order corrections
  • Generate shipping orders/bill of ladings in warehouse dynamics
  • Ensure all ISO documentation is current 

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role 
  • 2 years certificate from college, university or technical school, or 3-6 months related experience/training
  • Familiarity with ISO requirements and documentation 
  • Strong ability to multitask and attention to detail
  • Able to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
  • Must have a strong understanding of foundational math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
  • Must be familiar and comfortable using Internet software, inventory software, and Microsoft Office Suite
