We have a client looking for an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician who has spent several years working in a manufacturing environment. This person must be a self-starter that can produce at a high level and is committed to supporting their team. This position is a 2nd or 3rd shift position (flexible).

Job Functions

  • Inspect, repair, install and service equipment
  • Complete all preventative work orders and inspections in a timely manner
  • Ability to complete corrective repairs
  • Proficient in all aspects of fabrication
  • Working knowledge of high and low voltage along with 3-phase electricity
  • Working knowledge of process equipment (pumps, drives, gear boxes, etc)
  • Ability to perform basic wiring and installation of conduit
  • Ability to install and program AC Inverters
  • Working knowledge of control wiring
  • Working knowledge of process controls
  • Familiar with and understanding of SCADA systems
  • Familiar with and understanding of PLC operation with troubleshooting capabilities
  • Must be willing to operate as a leader in group settings and willing to direct others as necessary
  • Ensure work area is always clean, tidy and safe

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in Manufacturing Machine Maintenance
  • PLC systems: 1 year 
  • Working knowledge with high and low voltage: 2 years 
  • Manufacturing Maintenance: 5 years 
  • Computer proficient - Microsoft Office (basic skills)
  • Ability to work in a team environment while being self-motivated
  • Willingness to work multiple shifts or weekends as required by management
  • PLC Operation experience
  • AC Drives experience 
  • Scale and weigh systems experience 
  • Pneumatics experience 
  • Solid-state sensors experience
