We have a client who needs detail-oriented and hard-working individuals to play a hands-on role in constructing their products as a Blanchard Grinder Machine Operator.

A manufacturer of tooling steel for industries like auto, home appliance, medical devices, they have several job openings for various skilled laborers in multiple locations.

Job Functions

• Operate equipment and machinery to process and prepare products 
• Set up and operate a variety of Blanchard Grinder machine 
• Verify cure time and temperatures
• Complete labor sheets and production boards
• Read and interpret work instructions in blueprints, planning sheets, sketches, layouts, ob orders, and other technical data related to product specifications 
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Perform light machine maintenance, including check oil and coolant levels 
• Inspect parts for defects and flaws

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred 
• Experience using calipers, micrometer, and various gauges
• Must be able to use a measuring tape and know how to measure parts correctly 
• Experience in the Auto Industry is preferred 
• Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
• Ability to work on various cycle times per job requirements
• Natural team player and willing to help with other machines as needed
