Our client is a well-known metal manufacturer in Northeast, Ohio that specializes in centrifugal castings for extremely uniform and fine-grained metal structures. Job Functions

• Mold setup, pouring molten metal, removing castings, cut scrap, general cleanup
• Operate induction melting furnaces
• Metal is loaded into the furnace by crane or by hand
• Melt & adjust metal to specification prior to pouring
• Assist in the operation and upkeep of the facility

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent is required
• 1+ year experience in general labor, manufacturing or an industrial environment 
• Candidates must be able to pass a drug screen and pre-employment physical
• Must be physically able to be on their feet during each shift, and exert effort (i.e., lift, bend, pull functions)
• Possess a positive attitude
• Self-starter that uses time efficiently, maintains productivity and is dependable
• Able to communicate, perform job duties and read/comprehend in English
• Thorough and detail-oriented
