About Our Client
Based in Independence, our client is an independent family wealth advisory firm focused on leveraging and protecting family legacies. They specialize in working with high net worth families of faith and business owners who want to create sustainable family wealth strategies consistent with their values and beliefs.

Position Summary
We are looking for a seasoned administrative professional with experience working in a small office to support the owner along with a small team. Comfort in working with high net worth families and an understanding of the financial planning and insurance world is necessary.
The ideal candidate will be confident taking on a multitude of tasks (ranging from client projects, meeting coordination and administrative support work) and enjoy learning new things when needed.

Job Functions:
  • 60% executive assistant, 40% supporting general office management
  • Coordinate and schedule client and prospect meetings
  • Prepare and manage meeting logistics
  • Assist in maintaining digital and hard copy files
  • Assist CEO in compliance oversight
  • Coordinate state, SEC and FINRA licensing and continuing education efforts
  • Assist with and manage a variety of projects as needed
  • Administer monthly bill payments and QuickBooks reconciliation
Ideal Candidate Qualities & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 3-5 years of administrative experience
  • Working knowledge/proficiency in life insurance, financial planning and/or wealth management, a plus
  • Experience with QuickBooks
  • Familiarity with standard industry CRM systems (SmartOffice, Redtail) a plus
  • Industry-related licensing and broker dealer compliance experience a plus
  • Organized with a strong attention to detail
  • Comfort ‘wearing multiple hats’ 
  • Excellent communication skills and a calm demeanor
  • Client service mentality
