We are looking for a Engineering Technician that will bridge the gap between our client's Engineers, Production, and Maintenance Teams. This will primarily support our client's 2nd shift, but will be in a position of high growth as the role will interface with numerous internal stake holders and projects. 

The Electrical Engineering Technician will:

• Perform regular and preventative maintenance on installed electromechanical equipment and effectively troubleshoot complex problems associated with electromechanical machinery and systems.
• Analyze test results, machine error messages, and information obtained from operators to diagnose and repair.
• Be a valued member of the maintenance team, interacting with production, industrial maintenance, and cross-functionally to ensure reliability of equipment, service, safety, and continuous improvement.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Three plus years’ electrical maintenance experience in heavy industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge and experience with industrial electronics, AC/DC theory, power transmission, test instruments and instrumentation, VFD’s, PLC’s, ladder logic, relay logic, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, motor controls, and electrical construction.
• Ability to install, troubleshoot, and maintain a wide variety of industrial equipment using schematic diagrams and equipment manuals as guides.
• Demonstrated commitment to safe working behaviors including lockout, fall protection, confined space, and mobile equipment operation.
• Great teamwork, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
