We are looking for an experienced Electrical Technician to evaluate, assemble, and maintain electrical systems in equipment which are predominantly portable. This person should have experience in reading electrical system design plans and recommend improvements, as well as calibrate instruments, and diagnose faulty equipment. Our ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills with the ability to stay flexible while being organized, safe, and punctual.

Serving clients in 13 industrial industries, they offer everything from melting and molding to quality control and testing. This is a great opportunity to work for a diverse manufacturer in the heart of Ohio.

Job Functions
  • Disassemble and reassemble equipment for repair or transportation
  • Build the foundation for machines
  • Construct and install equipment
  • Review and interpret engineering specifications, schematics, and blueprints to determine work procedures
  • Transfer equipment for maintenance to avoid contamination or safety hazards
  • Grind and file machinery parts
  • Work with a range of hand tools including measuring tools, welding and brazing equipment
  • Determine which machines, techniques, and tools to use when moving equipment and completing jobs
Requirements
  • Read and understand electrical schematics.
  • Familiar with PLCs and HMIs
  • Experience with electrical power systems
  • A basic understanding of pneumatics and hydraulics
  • 7+ years' experience industrial machinery maintenance
  • Associates degree in Electrical Technology or Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology
  • Vocational School or Community College – Electrical Certificate
  • Available to work 2nd shift 3:00 PM – 11:30PM with overtime or 3rd shift 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM with overtime
