We have a direct hire opportunity for a client looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician who has spent several years working in a manufacturing environment. This person will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, constructing, adjusting, modifying and servicing all types of equipment throughout the facility. 

About Our Client
Our client is an international manufacturer of high-precision, geometrically complex aerospace & defense components and subassemblies. They specialize in directionally solidified/single crystal castings, investment castings, dry sand, green sand and permanent mold and offer in-house services like rapid prototyping, stem drilling, tool construction, machining, ancillary processing, painting, coating, kitting and assembly. 

Job Functions
  • Review preventive maintenance schedule.
  • Perform preventive maintenance per schedule.
  • Communicate with Operators pre- and post-repair.
  • Interact with Operators to troubleshoot, repair and test equipment.
  • Communicate with Team Leader and/or Maintenance Supervisor on major repair needs
  • discovered.
  • Complete, sign and submit work orders.
  • Complete safety checklist on all work.
  • Complete order list of equipment and supplies to be ordered.
  • Review new equipment standard issues.
  • Follow lock-out, tag-out procedures.
  • Repair machines as needed.
  • Attend annual RCRA training and other training as appropriate.
  • Take out trash and clean up debris around the plant as necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in maintenance 
  • Skilled in using mechanical hand tools 
  • Strong interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to troubleshoot plan equipment with supervision 
  • Ability to operate a forklift, scissor lift, and man lift 
  • Detail-oriented
  • Accurate 
  • Mechanically inclined 
  • Team oriented
