Job Functions of the Electrical Maintenance Technician:
  • Assemble, install, maintain, fabricate and/or repair production equipment, wiring, electrical and electronic components, pipe systems and plumbing, tow motors, machinery and equipment
  • General building maintenance
  • Inventory of parts and upkeep of tool room
     
Candidate Qualities & Experience of the Production Coordinator:
  • 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience with an emphasis on electrical
  • Electrical aptitude including wiring systems, pumps, motors and knowledge of 110v, 240v, 480v, single and three phase and basic PLC’s in a process driven environment
  • Extensive knowledge in building maintenance, carpentry, plumbing, pumps ( fluid, diaphragm, progressive cavity and hydraulic) and equipment maintenance including pneumatics and hydraulics.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, micrometers, tape measures, calipers and other measuring instruments
  • Ability to lift up to 50-75 lbs, operate forklifts, fabricate metal equipment and functional parts (using oxy-acetate torches and welding units including MIG welders)
  • Able to install, service and rebuild gearboxes, sprockets, bearings, gears and other energy transferring equipment
  • Mathematical aptitude
