Our client, a privately-owned manufacturer, is looking for an experienced professional to manage full lifecycle recruiting efforts for the organization. 
 
About Our Client: Known for metal design, manufacturing and custom fabrication services in the following spaces: architectural, bridges, environmental, industrial, parks & rec and public transportation. 
 
Job Functions:
  • Evaluate candidate applications and resumes
  • Lead/perform interviews both in-person and by phone
  • Complete reference and background checks
  • Make hiring recommendations
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all communications with the candidate during the recruiting/hiring process
  • Work in collaboration with internal communications team and/or an outside marketing firm to develop advertising programs (internal and external) to ensure high visibility to potential candidates
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with temporary employment agencies
 
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources (HR) or related field
  • Prior demonstrated experience (and success!) in a recruiting role
  • Prior HR experience a plus
  • 2+ years recruiting in the manufacturing space
  • Ideal candidate is a self-starter - must be dependable, able to manage time effectively and maintain productivity
  • Enthusiasm for cold-calling and other methods of outreach
  • Highly organized
  • Exceptional communication skills - both written and verbal 
  • Demonstrate sense of urgency
  • Positive attitude, service-oriented personality
