We have a client looking for a CNC Machinist to join their team. This person will be responsible for producing machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies.

Job Functions
  • Understand and follow work instructions
  • Inspect parts for defects
  • Load and unload parts
  • Change tools as required
  • Monitor machine operations to detect defects or machine malfunctions
  • Adjust machine as needed to maintain tolerances
  • Measure and inspect parts per work instruction
  • Data Entry and paperwork; Ensure complete and accurate records
  • Ability to effectively and efficiently operate a minimum of six (6) different work cells
  • Ability to complete setup and/or change over
  • Replace tool holders
  • Adjust spline racks

Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED 
  • Associates degree or Trade School graduate with training in a technical discipline preferred
  • Ability to read and understand the blueprint of parts and spec sheets
  • Ability to inspect parts using a scale, calipers, micrometers, and indicators and record reading  in-process inspection sheets
  • Ability to calibrate various indicator and digital gages
  • Ability to change tools and make adjustments to bring dimensions into print tolerance
  • Ability to read, write and follow written and verbal instructions
  • Solid mechanical aptitude required
  • Must be able to work effectively in a team environment
  • Immediate openings on 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts
