Our client is looking for experienced and detail-oriented Machine Operators to join their team. This person will monitor and operate various equipment to ensure quality production standards are being met and there is little to no unplanned downtime. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a Machine Operator, enjoy working in a team environment, and can easily multitask.

Our client is a chemical company offering a wide variety of services to their clients, including liquid blending, powder blending, packaging, warehousing, fulfillment, and much more. They offer companies throughout the United States reduced logistic costs and fast delivery with several locations in Ohio, Texas, Tennessee, Pennsylvania, and California. Job Functions:

  • Operate blending and processing equipment so that product meets customer product and mix instruction specifications
  • Follow all process control procedures and Mix‐Person work instructions
  • Follow make and pack ticket instructions
  • Fill containers; bulk storage tanks, totes, drums, and pails
  • Label containers to meet customer specifications and DOT regulations
  • Operate forklift to move materials from one part of the plant to another
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment for 5‐S compliance
  • General clean up duties; sweeping, squeegee floors, cleaning of mix and process equipment, operation of floor scrubber, etc.
  • Help train new blenders as required
  • Any other duties assigned

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred 
  • 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Forklift license is preferred but not required
  • Must have knowledge of possible chemical reactions
  • Must be able to multi‐task; making multiple batches at the same time and or fill containers
  • Must be able to understand and follow all safety rules and company policies
  • Must be able to lift up to 55lbs. and move materials that weigh up to 500 lbs. with proper equipment for assistance
