Western Ohio based manufacturer is looking for a multi-faceted machine operator with welding experience to support cell production operations.
About Our Client: Known for their integrity and attention to detail, our manufacturing client has been in business nearly fifty years and is still family-owned.
Job Functions:

Perform a variety of functions (blanking, assembling, welding) on one or more machine tools, special-purpose machines, or industrial robots to machine metal work pieces

Set up and operate barrel mill/lathe and rod lathe machines

Perform inspections, deburring, cleaning and counting parts

Identify and separate all non-conforming parts
-
Produce parts at a rate that meets or exceeds production standards

Perform all secondary operations and inspections, including deburring and cleaning all parts produced
Ideal Candidate Qualities & Experience:

Ability to read and interpret blueprints
-
Ability to take measurements to verify part conformance to the print

Mechanical aptitude
-
Working understanding of shop math principles (such as, a practical application of fractions, percentages, ratio and proportion, basic algebra, geometric conversion, and essentials of trigonometry)

Demonstrate working knowledge of gases and power sources used in the welding process

Ability to handle minor troubleshooting

Ability to analyze issues or problems common to welding and identify the root cause

Physical ability to lift up to 50+ lbs

Ideal candidate is a self-starter - will use time efficiently, maintain productivity and be dependable

Ability to communicate, perform job duties and read/comprehend in English
