Reporting Relationship: Reports to the Vice President of Sales 

Job Functions: 

  • Develop new business opportunities and relationships with prospects & new clients
  • Conduct weekly new business appointments
  • Negotiate (as necessary) and finalize new client agreements
  • Expectation to be visible at a variety of networking and community events representing Rust Belt Recruiting

Ideal Candidate Qualities & Experience: 

  • 1-3+ years of proven inside or outside B2B sales experience or equivalent experience in recruiting industry
  • Expertise or experience in one or more of the following industries, preferred:
    • Manufacturing
    • Construction
    • Industrial 
    • Professional Services or Consulting
  • Demonstrated success developing and securing new business
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills including excellent verbal and written communication
  • Ability to conversationally adapt to a variety of business buyer personalities
  • Strong problem solving and negotiation skills
  • Must be comfortable cold calling on new accounts
  • Ideal candidate is a self-starter - will use time efficiently, maintain productivity and be dependable
  • Positive and creative personality
