We have a client in need of an Account Representative to help grow their Indianapolis office. Our client is open to training an entry-level hire that has the right skills and personality to make this new role their own. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently with little supervision and produce high-quality results. 

About Our Client
Our client is a well-known stone wholesale distributor with nine different locations in Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Pennsylvania, and Kentucky. They offer high-quality granite, quartz, and engineered stones to residential and commercial clients. Having 30 years of experience in the industry, they are looking for talented individuals to help establish themselves in a new market. This is a great opportunity to make a difference and quickly climb the ladder in a fast-growing company. 

Job Functions

  • Increase business/ sales and interest.
  • To gather, update, and add to the company database as information changes and new companies appear.
  • To meet all ancillary customers listed in the database within the territory on a regular basis.
  • To keep the customers informed about our products and services on a regular basis.
  • To understand individual customer’s profile and then try to customize our sales effort to suit their needs.
  • Submit daily sales call reports
  • Develop and maintain a CUSTOMER ORIENTED approach.
  • Respond to all messages and E-Mails in a timely manner.
  • Cross Training on Inside Sales Team’s duties

Requirements

  • Required to travel 4 days a week and 1 day in office
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Good computer skills
  • Excellent communication and sales skills 
  • Sales / Marketing background is preferred but not required 
  • 3 years of business development experience preferred but not required 
  • Certifications are a plus, but not required: ASID, BIA, NCBA
